Oil on Paper - 1987

A large painting on paper (4' x 5') from the late eighties. I painted the entire background in a kind of approximate way of aping the affectations of formalist and conceptual painters such as Brice Marden and Christopher Wool. Then I defaced it with a vulgar and badly painted cartoon cat.

Ugh.
